Mission: The Center for Wound Healing & Hyperbaric Medicine (CFWH) provides management and consulting services to healthcare providers in the area of wound care and hyperbaric medicine. By focusing on the needs of the patients as well as the partners we serve, The Center for Wound Healing & Hyperbaric Medicine is able to bring advanced wound healing strategies to many communities around the country. Under the supervision of the Program Director and Nurse Case Manager, the Registered Nurse will provide general clinical care to patients afflicted with disorders of the integumentary system including wounds issues. The Registered Nurse is responsible to adhere to and enforce the nursing process within the Center for Wound Healing & Hyperbaric Medicine and the continuum of care. The nursing process is utilized to assess, diagnose, establish a plan with outcome criteria, intervene, evaluate, and document human responses to actual or potential health problems. This practice includes dependent, interdependent and independent functions. Acts within the guidelines of federal and state laws, Joint Commission or DNV ISO 9001 Standards, and professional ethical practices.

Qualifications & Training:

Registered Nurse graduated from an accredited school or college of Nursing. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Current state licensure.
Certified Hyperbaric Registered Nurse (CHRN) preferred. If not currently certified as a CHRN, must attend a UHMS/NBDHMT approved 40 hour hyperbaric course within six (6) months of hire date and complete 480 hours of hyperbaric training/preceptorship within twenty four (24) months. Exam must be scheduled within twenty four (24) months of hire date.
Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience.
Current BLS from approved agency.
Must possess good verbal and written communications skills.
