Directed by our wound care physicians, our wound care team establishes a comprehensive treatment plan that addresses every patient’s specific needs. And our team coordinates treatment with family and home care services.

IN A MANAGEMENT AGREEMENT WITH CFWH,
OUR HOSPITAL PARTNER WILL RECEIVE:

OVERSIGHT

  • A Center Director responsible for wound & hyperbaric center operations
  • A Medical Director responsible for all clinical operations (Negotiable)
  • Wound center staff (negotiable)
  • Real-time audits of documentation, performance improvement, billing, promotions, and safety
  • Ongoing clinical and technical support

DOCUMENTATION

  • Policies and form templates needed to perform wound and hyperbaric services
  • Policies and form templates necessary to implement a performance improvement program for the wound & hyperbaric center
  • A library of wound care and hyperbaric medicine reference books

CONSULTATION

  • Financial pro forma of the wound center
  • Facility requirements of the wound center
  • Selection of equipment for the wound center
  • Physician recruitment and participation in the wound center
  • Physician credentialing and staff competencies

FURNITURE & EQUIPMENT

  • Hyperbaric chambers and accessories
  • Transcutaneous oxygen monitors
  • ABI Doppler devices
  • Miscellaneous wound care equipment
  • Podiatry chairs

FACILITIES

  • Build or remodel a new or existing facility

PROMOTION

  • Plan for promotion of the wound center to physicians and lay community
  • Coordination of  promotion efforts
  • Dinner programs
  • Visit-based physician updates

EDUCATION

  • An introductory course in hyperbaric medicine for all wound center physicians and staff
  • A wound care training course for all wound center physicians and staff
  • A hyperbaric safety director training course for the designated hyperbaric safety director
  • In-service training on hyperbaric chamber operations by an experienced Certified Hyperbaric Technologist (CHT) or Certified Hyperbaric Registered Nurse (CHRN)
  • In-service training on transcutaneous oximetry by an experienced Certified Hyperbaric Technologist (CHT) or Certified Hyperbaric Registered Nurse (CHRN)
  • On-going hyperbaric CME/CEU credits for wound center physicians and staff
